Here at Envato we know two things really well: how to make awesome marketplaces, how to make awesome tutorials.
This week we combined these two things to create the brand NEW Tuts+ Marketplace, the world's first marketplace for premium tutorials, screencasts and ebooks.
The marketplace has over 160 items already and features work from Fabio Sasso (Abduzeedo), Chris Spooner (SpoonGraphics), David Leggett (Tutorial9) and Chris Coyier (CSS-Tricks) as well as many other fantastic online educators!
If you haven't heard yet, our exclusive author rates are about to get a whole lot better as of the end of September. We're super excited to announce that exclusive authors are going switch to a new rates ladder that starts at 50% and has a dramatically reduced progression ladder to get to 70%.
We're thrilled to be able to make the Envato Marketplaces an even better place for our diverse and talented community of authors!
CodeCanyon is really rockin' it lately. Since January the site has tripled in size with categories like CSS and WordPress plugins in the mix. And that growth is set to continue with the addition of our brand new HTML5 Category!
If you enjoy keeping up with what's happening around the Envato sites, then you're going to love the new Envato Notes blog. It's kinda like this newsletter, but in daily format! We've got news, interviews, giveaways, competitions and more.
One of the key factors that we believe has lead to the success of Envato and the marketplaces is our commitment to transparency and our openness to feedback given by our users. As our community, sites, and marketplaces grow, there is a natural need for the guidelines and rules to evolve and grow with them.
